If your Box is offline (shows a red dot on this page), chances are that your SD card is corrupt due to an electrical outage. If you've bought the Box from us, we'll send you a new SD card at our costs, and if it's a DIY Box, we'll provide a guide for exchanging and re-flashing it.

Before changing the SD card please verify that:

  • your ethernet and power cables are plugged in and working

  • your router port is providing network for the 1Home Box.

For 1Home Box owners

  • Please write to support@1home.io to receive a new SD card.
Since January 2019 we are using high-grade SD cards (Sandisk Extreme) that work 100% with no corruption, older devices might need them exchanged.

Once you've received the SD card, please follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to the 1Home Dashboard and select the "1Home Devices" tab from the menu. There you can disconnect the old 1Home Box (marked with a red dot).

  2. Unplug the 1Home Box from power.

  3. Remove the old SD card (with fingers or tweezers). The SD card slot is located on the opposite side of the power and router plugs.

  4. Insert the new SD card after removing it from the provided adapter.

  5. Connect the 1Home Box back to power and router with the provided power adapter and ethernet cables, then wait 5-10 minutes for the device to update to the latest version and appear online.

  6. Select "1Home Devices" tab again and pair the Box by clicking "Pair".

  7. Move configuration from the old Box to the new one. Here's the tutorial.

Enjoy using the 1Home Box!
