For setting up KNX IP Interface with 1Home device, the following steps need to be completed.

For completing the setup, you require the following credentials:

  • Local IP and port of your KNX IP Interface

  • ETS5 project file of your KNX project


Step 1: Connect 1Home Bridge to your KNX IP Interface

Please enter the Local IP and port of your KNX IP Interface on the smart home setup screen in the 1Home dashboard and click connect.

What if I don't know the local IP of my KNX IP Interface?


Use the text below to contact an integrator who setup your KNX smart home and they will provide you with the required information:

"Hey,
I am trying to setup 1Home device with my smart home but don't know the information required for the setup.

I'd need:

  • My Local IP and port.

Thank you for your help."


Step 2: Import the ETS5 project file

Please import/drag&drop your KNX ETS5 project file in the 1Home dashboard. If the ETS file is protected with a password, please enter the password as well (otherwise leave the password field empty). Once the ETS file is processed by our algorithm majority of the devices should be correctly recognized in the dashboard.

The devices that are not correctly configured should be updated by the following procedure:

I don't have the ETS5 project file, what can I do?

  • If you have the ETS file but not the ETS5 version - you can contact our support and send them the file - they will convert it for you.

  • If you don't have the ETS project file at all, you should contact your smart home integrator to provide it for you. We suggest using the following text:

"Hey,
I am trying to setup 1Home device with my smart home but don't have my ETS project file that is required for configuration.

I'd need KNX ETS5 project file of my smart home.


Thank you for your help."
