Before syncing KNX configuration, 1Home Bridge needs to be connected directly to KNX BUS via the KNX module on the device and connected to the network via ethernet. 1Home Bridge also needs to be paired with the 1Home dashboard.

Once the 1Home Bridge is paired, you will be provided with the smart homes found in your network.

Step 1: Connect to KNX BUS

Please select the KNX BUS option under "smart homes found". The Local IP of your BUS will be automatically filled. Please click "connect".

Step 2: Import the ETS5 project file

Please import/drag&drop your KNX ETS5 project file in the 1Home dashboard. If the ETS file is protected with a password, please enter the password as well (otherwise leave the password field empty). Once the ETS file is processed by our algorithm majority of the devices should be correctly recognized in the dashboard.

The devices that are not correctly configured should be updated by the following procedure:

Read "How to configure your ETS project to work well with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home"

I don't have the ETS5 project file, what can I do?

  • If you have the ETS file but not the ETS5 version - you can contact our support and send them the file - they will convert it for you.

  • If you don't have the ETS project file at all, you should contact your smart home integrator to provide it for you. We suggest using the following text:

I am trying to setup 1Home device with my smart home but don't have my ETS project file that is required for configuration.

I'd need KNX ETS5 project file of my smart home.

Thank you for your help."
